RPA presents benchmark case study on the use of Ultra Thin-clients for revolutionising their approach to the desktop

Cabinet Office CIO John Suffolk spoke of a future of flexible, sharable IT services throughout government, with emphasis on delivering tangible benefits back to the public in his opening address to the Government IT '08 conference.
Delegates also joined an interactive workshop hosted by John Gray, Head of Strategy and Architecture at the RPA to talk about how he implemented Ultra Thin-Clients as part of a project to reduce costs, improve worker flexibility and improve energy efficiency
Sun Microsystems co-sponsored Government IT '08 along with ukngroup and experts from both companies met with delegates to discuss the RPA approach and presented them with a unique "utility model" for delivering desktop services within their organisation's.
