UKN Group takes over management of desktop services with Symphony Group, the UK's largest privately owned provider of furniture to the housing trade.

Symphony is a member of the prestigious Sunday Times PWC Profit Track 100 and is the UK's largest privately-owned provider of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture to private and public sector property developers, high street retailers and builders merchants.
Symphony are moving from 2 disperse sites, to a new 1 mile square campus. As part of this transformation, employees who don’t wish to commute are being offered the opportunity to work from home. UKN Group are providing Symphony Group with an initial deployment of a 300 seat UTC infrastructure, which will see 150 devices used in their new site; with the remaining 150 deployed to home workers.
UKN Group are providing a demarked “black box” system with resilient server Infrastructure, switching environment and application delivery mechanism (SoftGrid) and will be responsible for managing the ultra thin-client environment for the next 4 years, following the sign-off of contracts.
With the initial deployment completed the contact now moves into its service stage with UKN Group providing the full support of its Service Delivery Team and Service Centre.
