Software Audit and Migration

One of the first questions asked by our customers when considering the switch to Ultra Thin-Client computing is how to take an infrastructure with a high degree of application complexity and successfully present those applications using remote delivery.

We have unparalleled experience meeting this challenge in real world environments and can successfully demonstrate how any organisation, whether large or small, can benefit from a model of server-based desktop computing; in spite of their complexities.

Part of our service involves providing a high level of experience and specialist support in order to successfully audit the exiting estate and understand how to structure a transition.

Planning is the most important aspect of the migration process and underpins the effectiveness of the deployment. Our team of industry professionals will engage early on to demonstrate the technology, develop the right mix of software and put into practise a safe and seamless deployment to fixed timescales.

By assessing software usage patterns, measuring application performance and gauging user responses we aid customers in the rapid development of a project plan that includes their own detailed acceptance criteria.

Our method of application presentation to the end user may include a mix of virtualised desktops along with Windows Terminal Server, Linux or Citrix sessions. Packaging of applications is rapid, hassle-free and includes the functionality to immediately roll-back to previous versions.

Providing user access to a particular suite of programs becomes easier and faster than with traditional desktop computing; without the need to initiate resource intensive deployment and patching to individual PCs.

Because we are industry-accredited experts with this technology we have already faced many of the difficult challenges associated with bringing corporate applications to life in a thin-client environment.

So, if you have considered a move away from cumbersome desktop infrastructure, but were put off by the implementation, we encourage you to contact us to arrange a demonstration.
