The ladies of UKN Group came together Wednesday night in support of Cancer Research UK at Race for Life. There was an enormous show of support from both participants and spectators alike, as hundreds of people wearing every shade of pink ran the track. Each group chose between a 5k or a 10k path. Vendors with colorful bunting adorned every edge of the grass. Children played in the bounce house, enjoyed ice lollies and cheered on their friends!
Well done, all!

5k (or just over three miles) is an achievable distance for all ages and abilities. You can run, walk or even dance your way around the courses.
We have almost 200 5k Race for Life events across the UK so there is bound to be one close by where you can show cancer who’s boss. To take part in a 5k, simply enter as an individual. If you'd like to enter more people at the same time as registering yourself, you'll need to enter as a group.
This year we have more Race for Life 10k events than ever before so you can really hit cancer where it hurts.
10k (or just over six miles) is more of a challenge, so if you’ve taken on our 5k events before, this is a great distance to try and push yourself further. To take part in a 10k, simply enter as an individual. If you'd like to enter more people at the same time as registering yourself, you'll need to enter as a group.
